What is Photo Palooza PNW?
Photo Palooza PNW is a portfolio-first, hands-on photography experience at a luxury waterfront resort.
You’ll shoot curated sets, learn from working educators, and leave with images you’re proud to post.
Is this a conference or a real shoot experience?
It’s built around shooting — real sets, real instruction, real portfolio results.
What skill level is this for?
All levels are welcome. Sessions support beginners while still challenging experienced photographers.
Can I come alone?
Yes — many attendees do. The experience is intentionally welcoming and easy to plug into.
What should I bring?
Your camera, lenses, batteries/cards, and optional flash gear. Styled environments and guidance are provided.
When do classes start and end?
The event begins June 1st at 8:30 AM.
The final class concludes June 2nd at 6:00 PM, followed by the closing party.
When should I arrive?
Plan to arrive on May 31st so you don’t miss the evening meet & greet with speakers.
How do I get there?
Bellingham International Airport is the closest airport and will have a shuttle on
May 31st & June 3rd.
Seattle International Airport is approximately 2 hours south.
Vancouver, BC International Airport is approximately 2 hours north.
No shuttles are provided from Seattle or Vancouver.

Yes — many attendees drive.

There is an on-site restaurant & bar. Food and drinks are not included unless noted.
What’s the difference between Standard and VIP?
Standard includes the full core experience. VIP includes exclusive add-ons and limited-capacity experiences.
